1. Software License Grant
By downloading, installing, or executing BerryDB Desktop ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). Notex grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BerryDB Desktop on supported macOS hardware in accordance with your subscription tier or active free trial.
2. Free Core Desktop App & AI Credits
- 100% Free Core App: Unlimited local multi-engine database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Qdrant) is free forever.
- 14-Day Free AI Trial: New users receive a 14-day AI trial with 1,000,000 free tokens upon email activation.
- Pay-As-You-Go AI Credit Top-Ups: Additional AI Assistant tokens are purchased as Pay-As-You-Go credits ($2, $5, $10, $20 presets via Paddle checkout). Credits never expire and are consumed strictly per token used.
3. Local-First Architecture & Data Sovereignty
BerryDB Desktop operates as a local-first application. All database credentials, connection profiles, SSH private keys, query histories, saved scripts, and workspace configurations are stored locally on your macOS device inside macOS Keychain and local SQLite stores. BerryDB servers do not collect, transmit, store, or inspect your connected database contents or executed queries.
4. User Responsibilities & Production Guardrails
You are solely responsible for all database queries, DML modifications (UPDATE, DELETE), DDL structural changes (DROP TABLE, ALTER TABLE), and data grid edits executed through BerryDB Desktop.
